Update on January 5 – Repairs were completed in the early evening of January 3, at which time water service was restored and the road was reopened to traffic.
Update on January 3 at 1:45 p.m. – Crews are on site to carry out repairs. Water service was temporarily interrupted on Westminster Avenue between Milner and Curzon. Snow removal operations were was paused while the street remained closed and are scheduled to resume tomorrow at 7 a.m.
The Town is responding to a water main break on Westminster N. As a result, Westminster N is closed to traffic between Sherbrooke and Curzon. A detour is currently in effect, and signage has been installed to assist motorists.
Municipal crews are on site assessing the situation.
Residents in the surrounding area may experience temporary water service interruptions or reduced water pressure during the work.
