Update May 5, 2026 – The supply was completely picked up on the first day. A new shipment is expected tomorrow afternoon, as well as on Monday, May 11. Wood chips are still available.
The Town is offering residents a free supply of compost and wood chips for pickup starting May 4, 2026. These products are certified for all uses, including for vegetable gardens.
Compost and wood chips can be collected in the Milton parking lot, across from the Ronald Drive entrance (see map below). The pickup is self-serve; please bring your own bucket and shovel
Please note that this distribution is reserved exclusively for Montreal West residents. Contractors are not permitted to take materials, and monitoring will be in place on site.
A new delivery is expected on May 11, and these products will be available until supplies run out.
