8:00 a.m. Soccerfest
Location : Royal West Academy Field
- Free registration, register by age on Amilia (U8 to adults)
- Music, entertainment, food (free for participants)
- Round robin tournaments, 7 on 7
- Winners will be honoured at the Canada Day festivities
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wibit obstacle course at the Municipal Pool
3:00 p.m. Contests at Paula Cordeau Park
3:30 p.m. Parade
The parade begins at the corner of Ainslie & Westminster South and makes its way up Westminster to Parkside to end at Strathearn Park.
The parade will be made up of local community groups, dignitaries, pipes and drums and more. Contest participants will also have the opportunity to be part of the parade!
Sections of Westminster Avenue will be closed as the parade moves up to Parkside. Traffic will be redirected on Ballantyne and Brock for the duration of the parade. Check out the parade route and plan your trips accordingly.
4:00 p.m. Festivities at Strathearn Park
- 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Inflatables, face painting, crafts, BBQ, cotton candy, drinks
- 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Petting zoo, pony rides
- 4:30 p.m. Music with Shawny
- 5:00 p.m. Yan the Magician
- 6:00 p.m. The Fundamentals
- 7:45 p.m. O’ Canada, Mayor’s address, free cake
- 8:00 p.m.Line dancing with Gilbert
- 8:15 p.m. The Fundamentals
To ensure a safe environment for all, glass bottles are forbidden in the park. It is also forbidden to bring in any alcohol. Alcohol will be available for purchase on-site.

9:45 p.m. Fire works at Hodgson Field
Bring your chairs and blankets, settle in comfortably, and enjoy spectacular fireworks to close the day.
In case of rain
- Soccerfest will take place rain or shine. it will be moved to the Gymnasium at the Sports and Recreation Centre in the event of extreme weather (thunder and lightning).
- Contest and parade will be cancelled.
- Park activtiies will be moved to the Sports and Recreation Centre (performances, activities, food, and drinks)
- Fireworks, may be delayed or cancelled due to weather and safety
