Hot dogs, pizza and hot chocolate will be available in exchange for a cash or non-perishable food donation.

Bathrooms will be open at the Community Centre.

Road closures

Please note the following important road closures:

  • The level crossing at the intersection of Westminster and Sherbrooke will be completely closed to traffic between 6:45 p.m and 8:00 p.m. A detour will be possible via the Elmhurst level crossing at all times.
  • Broughton between Westminster and Connaught will be completely closed between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • Both Ballantyne and Brock south between Avon and Broughton will be designated for “local circulation only” between 3 p.m and 9 p.m. Public security and police officers will be restricting access between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

The above street closures will be necessary to ensure the safety of spectators.

Due to the closing of the Westminster level crossing from 6:45 p.m to 8:00 p.m, police will be stationed at the intersection of Avon and Westminster in order to direct traffic. For safety reasons, the police officers will not allow any vehicles to access Westminster northbound, with the exception of emergency vehicles. As a result, there won’t be inbound access to Easton or Ainslie for 60 minutes during the event. However, vehicles will be able to exit via Ainslie and access Avon at all times during the event.

Please plan any trips according to the information provided above.
