Elections: where and when to vote

You will be voting for one of the candidates running for each available seat on the Town council. Portfolios are not assigned to specific seat numbers and are assigned by the Mayor after the election.

Where and when to vote?

  • Advance Poll: Sunday, October 26, from noon to 8 p.m. at Elizabeth Ballantyne School (314 Northview)
  • Polling Day: Sunday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Royal West Academy (189 Easton)

You can bring the notice of entry or the reminder card you ‘ll be receiving shortly. It’s not mandatory, but it helps election officers direct you to the right place more quickly. Make sure to bring one of the accepted identification documents:

  • Québec driver’s license
  • Québec health insurance card
  • Canadian passport
  • Certificate of Indian status
  • Canadian Forces identification card
