En ce jour du Souvenir, nous honorons le courage, le sacrifice et le d\u00e9vouement de ceux qui ont servi et continuent de servir notre pays dans la qu\u00eate de la paix. La Ville de Montr\u00e9al-Ouest entretient des liens profonds avec cet h\u00e9ritage de m\u00e9moire.<\/p>\n
Chaque ann\u00e9e, le Dr Drummond dirige la Marche du Souvenir, guidant des groupes \u00e0 travers la ville pour visiter les maisons o\u00f9 vivaient les soldats tomb\u00e9s au combat, pr\u00e9servant ainsi leurs histoires pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures. Le 9 novembre, la ministre des Anciens Combattants, Ginette Petitpas Taylor, et environ 60 autres personnes, a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cette marche pour rendre hommage \u00e0 leur bravoure.<\/p>\n

Similar banners will be placed on lamp posts along the main street. On November 6, David O'Keefe will deliver a lecture on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
