The Town invites you to a special event for the official launch of the public fundraising campaign for the new Sports and Recreation Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 12 to 3:30 p.m.
Hodgson Field<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come find out more about this exciting project and join us for food, entertainment, raffle and arts and crafts. Free food for the first 500 people!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Town Council will also be on site to present the project and answer your questions about the new Sports and Recreation Center.<\/p>\n

The event will take place rain or shine in our heated tents.<\/p>\n

Free family-friendly shows<\/h2>\n

1 p.m. Music show by children entertainer, Shawny
<\/strong>Kids and adults who are kids at heart will enjoy dancing around to his catchy tunes! Check out his Youtube channel<\/a><\/p>\n

2:30 p.m. Hula hoop show by Becky Hoops\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Becky\u2019s successful street show, has been performed in more than 15 countries and continues to be a crowd hit.\u00a0 This lovable yet overly zealous character truly lives in a fantasy paradise, bringing the beach to the street, everywhere she goes. She transforms her hula hoop into a miniature ocean, bringing the public with her on a breathtaking underwater journey full of circus skill, comedy and a few surprises. She herself is surprised at the end when she is showered with over 25 hula hoops.\u00a0 Jump head first into this one\u2026 you won\u2019t regret it!<\/p>\n
