{"id":24365,"date":"2020-05-28T14:10:54","date_gmt":"2020-05-28T18:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/montreal-west.ca\/?p=24365"},"modified":"2020-06-01T11:36:54","modified_gmt":"2020-06-01T15:36:54","slug":"heat-warning-and-opening-of-davies-park-splash-pad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/montreal-ouest.ca\/en\/heat-warning-and-opening-of-davies-park-splash-pad\/","title":{"rendered":"Heat warning and opening of Davies Park splash pad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Due to the extreme heat and humidity, the Direction de Sant\u00e9 publique de Montr\u00e9al has given municipalities the green light to open their water park installations.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/><em>\u201cWe are pleased to announce that the splash pad at Davies Park is now\u00a0open to give everyone the opportunity to cool off.\u00a0 We encourage all our residents to enjoy a respite from the heat but wish to remind you that this must be done while respecting distancing measures.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">&#8211; Beny Masella, Mayor<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The splash pad is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. In order to respect physical distancing, specific measures indicated on posters by the splash pad will be put in place. If not respected, the Town will be forced to close the splash pad.<br \/><br \/>Splash pads at Strathearn and Rubgy Parks have not yet been opened.
