This excludes roads that have been included in an infrastructure project since 1990 as well as properties for which the Town has conducted a water analysis test and whose results are within the recommended limit established by Health Canada.<\/p><p>Residents who live in a home with a risk of lead are advised to use a certified filtration device.<\/p><p>Here is a list of streets for which the infrastructure was redone since 2007 and there is <strong>a very low risk of finding lead service lines on the public side<\/strong>. Residents living on these streets are not eligible for the rebate program.<\/p><table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\"><thead><tr><td style=\"width: 33.3333%;\"><strong>NORTH<\/strong><\/td><td style=\"width: 33.3333%;\"><strong>CENTRE<\/strong><\/td><td style=\"width: 33.3333%;\"><strong>SOUTH<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td style=\"width: 33.3333%; vertical-align: top;\"><ul><li>Crestwood<\/li><li>Banstead<\/li><li>Sheraton <em>(from C\u00f4te Saint-Luc Road to #135\/136)<\/em><\/li><li>Rugby<\/li><li>Smart<\/li><li>Radcliffe<\/li><li>Wolseley N<\/li><\/ul><\/td><td style=\"width: 33.3333%; vertical-align: top;\"><ul><li>Brock N. <em>(between Northview and Fielding)<\/em><\/li><li>Brock N. <em>(between Curzon and Sherbrooke)<\/em><\/li><li>Ballantyne N.<\/li><li>Strathearn N. <em>(between Northview and Nelson)<\/em><\/li><li>Strathearn N. <em>(between Curzon and Milner)<\/em><\/li><li>Percival <em>(between the cul-de-sac and Nelson)<\/em><\/li><\/ul><\/td><td style=\"width: 33.3333%; vertical-align: top;\"><ul><li>Brock S. <em>(between Avon and Courtney)<\/em><\/li><li>Brynmor<\/li><li>Easton (between the tracks and #52)<\/li><li>Broughton (between Ainslie and Fenwick)<\/li><li>Fenwick<\/li><li>Campbell<\/li><li>Ainslie (between Campbell and Fenwick)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><h3>Water filters that are eligible for this rebate program<\/h3><p>The rebate program applies to certified NSF\/ANSI 53 or NSF\/ANSI 58 filters for the removal of lead. <strong>Some packages don&#8217;t include the NSF 53 or 58 mention, you must however ensure that the filter is certified for the removal of lead.<\/strong><\/p><p>Above the sink NSF-053 filters can be any of the following:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Pour-through pitcher\/carafe:<\/strong> Water drips through a filter in a water pitcher using gravity.<\/li><li><strong>Faucet mount:<\/strong> Mounts on kitchen faucet. Uses diverter to direct water through a filter.<\/li><li><strong>Counter-top connected to sink faucet:<\/strong> Connects to existing sink faucet through a hose\/tubing.<\/li><li><strong>Refrigerator filter:<\/strong> Installed in the refrigerator and typically dispensed through the refrigerator door.<\/li><\/ul><p>An under-sink system certified NSF-053 or NSF-058 which connects to the plumbing.<\/p><p>Here is a <i class=\"fa fa-file-pdf-o\"><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/montreal-west.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Qualifying-filters.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> list of qualifying filter<\/a>s. They can be purchased in hardware stores, department stores and online.<\/p><h3>How to apply for the rebate<\/h3><p>To apply for the rebate, residents must fill out the application form either online or at Town Hall.
