The Town will resume upkeep if weather conditions permit. \n\nResidents are urged to stay off the ice to prevent damage to the surface.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" class=\"elementor-alert-dismiss\" aria-label=\"Dismiss this alert.\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This season, the Town has four outdoor rinks (weather permitting), one at Rugby Park, one at George Booth Park, one at Strathearn Park and one at Paula Cordeau Park.\u00a0<\/p><h3>General info for all rinks<\/h3><ol><li>During maintenance or ice preparation, the rinks will be closed.<\/li><li><b>The use of a helmet, gloves and neck guard is recommended.<\/b><\/li><li>Rinks must only be used during opening hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m.)\u00a0<\/li><li>Anyone in violation of the current rules is subject to a fine.<\/li><li>An area near the rink will be set up to put on your skates.<\/li><li>Ice rinks can only be flooded effectively when temperatures reach \u22128 \u00b0C or colder.<\/li><\/ol><h3>\u00a0Skating Rinks (with no hockey boards)<\/h3><ul><li><b>Not permitted:<\/b> Tag, hockey, etc.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Hockey Rinks (with boards)<\/h3><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Hockey-related activities are permitted on the hockey ice surfaces<\/li><li><strong>Not permitted<\/strong>: Tournaments, league activities or any competitions.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Rink conditions<\/h2><p>Rink conditions are only updated from Monday to Friday.<\/p><p><em>Please note that warm weather softens the ice during the day making watering more
