Local community organizations provide a variety of resources and services to assist seniors and to help them stay in their homes for as long as possible. The resources listed below offer their services to residents in Montreal West.<\/h3>

211 for all community and public resources info<\/strong> is an information and referral service available 7 days a week, from 8 am to 6 pm, 365 days a year. The directory is also available on the web. In collaboration with community organizations, all information on social and community resources is updated annually.

The CSSS Cavendish, New Hope Community Centre and the Provigo (corner of Cavendish and Sherbrooke) offer a group grocery shopping program on the first Tuesday of each month. A bus will provide seniors with a free round trip from their home to Provigo. You must call to register.

MADA Community Centre <\/strong>is a volunteer-based organization that evolved from a small neighbourhood centre to Montreal\u2019s central address for fighting poverty in our community.
